Flower 21 Delivery Policy

Ordering During Holidays:
Our store and delivery hours may vary during major holidays. To ensure timely delivery during peak periods, please place your orders at least one day in advance for the following holidays:

  • Valentine’s Day
  • Easter
  • Administrative Professionals Week
  • Mother’s Day
  • Father’s Day
  • Good Friday
  • Labor Day

Long-Distance Deliveries:

For deliveries over 20 miles from our shop, prior approval from our staff is required. Please call 847-419-9600 for further information.

Specific Delivery Times:

While we cannot guarantee delivery at a specific time, we typically deliver orders within four hours of placement. You may request a preferred time frame in the special instructions box when ordering, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

If the Recipient is Unavailable:

If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the courier may leave flowers in a safe location, such as with a neighbor and leave a message for the recipient to inform.

Incorrect Addresses:

If the recipient’s address is incorrect and delivery was attempted, an address correction fee will apply. Flower 21 is not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. In such cases, the customer assumes full responsibility for the purchase.

Canceling an Order:

Same-day orders are processed immediately and usually cannot be modified. Due to the urgent nature of floral deliveries, we cannot cancel or change orders that are already being processed, in transit, or delivered. To cancel or change an order that has not yet been processed, please call 847-419-9600.

Contacting the Recipient:

In some cases, the florist may contact the recipient to ensure they will be home to accept the delivery.

Request to Leave Item at Door:

The customer assumes all responsibility for requests to leave items at the door. We strongly recommend avoiding special instructions for delivery to doorsteps, yards, or any location where the recipient cannot accept the arrangement themselves. Flower 21 is not liable for missing or damaged items due to such requests.

Recipient Refusal of Delivery:

If the recipient refuses to accept the delivery, you may be held fully responsible for the cost of the gift.

Card Messages:

The message you write in the card message field will be included with the gift. We do not include any billing information with your order.

We are committed to delivering your orders promptly and efficiently. However, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions or carrier-related issues. While these situations are rare, we work closely with our shipping partners to minimize any delays and ensure your order reaches you as quickly as possible. Our customer service team is always ready to assist with any concerns and provide updates on your delivery.
